Placement fee: 20% of first-year gross compensation

The position’s actual duties—not merely its title—determine the category. Any category or scope change must be confirmed in writing by both parties before applying a different percentage.

How will you pay the employee?

The number of hours you agree to pay for each week, even if fewer hours are worked. Enter at least 20 hours per week for this long-term placement estimate.

More cost options (optional)

You can leave everything below blank. Only fill in costs that you already expect to pay during the first year.

Money for working extra hours. Enter your estimated EXTRA pay for the whole year, not an hourly rate. Don't count pay already included above.

For example, an agreed travel or phone allowance that counts as compensation. Enter the total for one year.

Any other extra money you and the employee have agreed on for the first year. Leave blank if none.

For your own budget, you may add a percentage for employer expenses, such as payroll taxes or insurance. This is NOT an official tax rate or an At Ease fee. Leave blank if you're unsure.

Important details about these estimates

Placement fee: The applicable percentage is calculated from the candidate’s agreed first-year gross compensation. This includes guaranteed wages or salary, reasonably anticipated overtime, stipends, and other agreed compensation with an assigned monetary value, to the extent permitted by law.

When you pay: The $500 engagement fee is paid before the search begins. The placement fee is earned and payable immediately upon a candidate's verbal or written acceptance of an offer and must be received no later than two calendar days after acceptance. A $50 daily late fee may apply from the third calendar day if unpaid, only to the extent permitted by law. No placement fee is due solely for an interview or paid trial without an accepted offer.

Replacement support: Qualifying long-term placements may include one replacement search without an additional placement fee for departures in days 1–90, or a 50% credit toward a new search in days 91–365. Conditions apply.

Please note: This is for long-term direct hires, not temporary / FlexCare bookings. It is only an estimate, not a quote or invoice. Employer taxes, overtime requirements, benefits, and other costs vary by location and situation. The current Client Service Agreement and any signed addendum control actual fees.
